What is Akluma?

Akluma is a free saving app built around one idea: pick a goal, make a plan, and stick to it. It's a savings tracker that shows you exactly how close you are to your target and sends you email reminders so you never forget a saving day.

You can use it as a money saving planner with a fixed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly), or go classic and add money at your own pace. Either way, you see your progress grow in real time.

It works in six currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, TRY, XOF, XAF) and three languages (English, Turkish, French). No subscriptions, no credit card, no hidden fees.

Why I Built It

I wanted a simple app to help me save money for specific goals. Not a full budgeting platform, not a bank product. Just a straightforward savings goal app that tells me how much to save, when to save it, and how far I've come.

I looked for apps to help save money this way and couldn't find one that worked without connecting a bank account or paying a monthly fee. So I built Akluma.

How It Works

1. Create a piggy bank and set your savings goal
2. Choose your saving plan (pick a target date or set a regular amount - daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly) or go classic with no schedule
3. Akluma calculates what you need to save each time and sends automatic reminders
4. Track your progress with a visual bar that fills up as you get closer

Who Is Behind Akluma?

I'm Ubeydullah Keleş, a software developer from Istanbul, Türkiye. Akluma is a personal project, not a company product. I built it because I needed it myself, and I keep improving it because other people find it useful too.
